In the scope of the handover of the project results to the customer the aim is to relocate the responsibility for the project results from the project organisation to the line organisation. The organisation-specific conditions require particular attention in this. Depending on project, handing over the results to the customer often does not signify the end. Instead, it is important to examine which organisational units are affected beyond the actual customer. These may include the following fields:
• Quality assurance
• Works safety officer
• Environmental protection officer
• Human Resources Department
• Works council
• Controlling
• Other specialist departments
• Etc.
For safety’s sake, the stakeholder analysis should be consulted in order to determine whether individuals concerned need to be paid special consideration in the scope of the project conclusion.
